Baku-Shamakha-Lahij-Sheki-Baku(AZR-1002)

Day 1 Arrival to Azerbaijan-Transfer to hotel-Baku tour (-,-,D)      
After check-in into the hotel the sightseeing tour starts, which includes a visit to the Martyrs Alley in the Highland Park, which is located on a hill in the western city part. This is the best place to view the city and the Baku Bay. The architecture of the capital, located on the shore of the Caspian Sea, is a mix of different styles, in particular, Gothic, Baroque, Classical and of course Modern. Further the excursion is continued with a visit to the Old City - "Icheri Sheher", which is also a fortress. Tourists will see the main sights of the Old City, including the Palace of the Shirvanshahs (mid XV century), the Maiden Tower and can walk along the beautiful Baku seafront, and also visit a carpet factory, where they can watch the process of carpet manufacturing.

Day 2 Shamakha-Lahij-Sheki (B,-,D)
The group leaves for the mountain region of Azerbaijan. The first stop is in Shamakha town. Being the capital of Shirvanshahs state from the IX century, the town was one of the most important on the Great Silk Road. In Shamakha the tourists will visit the famous historical and architectural monuments of the country, such as "Juma Mosque» (XIX century) and the mausoleum "Seven Domes". Lahij is one of the most beautiful parts of Azerbaijan, located at the foot of the Great Caucasus Mountains. Here, where three climatic zones exist at the same time, you can see snow-capped mountains, rapid rivers and waterfalls...The route passes Lahij village, which is the center of folk craft. Villagers are hereditary craftsmen: engravers, potters, blacksmiths, and wood carvers. Tourists can not only study their art, but also purchase nice items of folk art. During the excursion, you can also see the old bridge connecting the two villages, a stone water pipe, built in the XVI century, and houses of the XIX century with wall paintings. Upon the arrival to Sheki town, the guests will check-in and have dinner.

Day 3 Sheki-Baku (B,-,D)
Sheki is one of the most ancient towns of Azerbaijan, it is located on the picturesque slopes of the Great Caucasus Mountains. The excursion tour starts with a visit to the Palace of Sheki Khans. The tourists will also visit the museum of history, the Albanian church in Kish village (V-VI centuries). Then the group returns to Baku, to stay at night in the hotel.

Day 4 Transfer to airport (B,-,-)
After breakfast the group departs for the airport, where the accompanying company representative will assist the tourists with registration for the flight and other formalities. End of the tour
