Beginning in Athens with its iconic Acropolis, the route continues through the monastery-crowned cliffs of Meteora, the lakeside charm of Ohrid, the vibrant streets of Tirana, the Montenegrin coast at Budva and Kotor, the historic walls of Dubrovnik, the Ottoman bridges of Mostar, the resilient spirit of Sarajevo, and the waterfalls of Plitvice Lakes National Park, before concluding in Zagreb. Eleven nights are spent in carefully selected 4-star hotels with daily breakfast, accompanied throughout by an English-speaking tour escort and local guides in each major city. Arrival in Athens (ATH). Transfer to the hotel and free time to rest after your flight.

Athens City Tour: Acropolis, Parthenon, Temple of Nike, Erechtheion, Panathenaic (Olympic) Stadium, Temple of Zeus, Plaka shopping district, Syntagma Square and the Presidential Mansion. Breakfast included.

Day 03: Day 3
Travel from Athens to Kalambaka. Kalambaka City Tour featuring the Meteora Monasteries and panoramic views of the Meteora mountains. Breakfast included.

Travel from Kalambaka to Ohrid. Ohrid City Tour: Lake Ohrid, Cinar Square, Halveti Hayati Tekke and the Church of St. Sophia. Breakfast included.

Travel from Mostar to Sarajevo via Jablanica and Konjic. Mostar City Tour (Nesuh-Aga Vučjaković Mosque, the Old Town, Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque, the Old Bridge, the Crooked Bridge); a short stop in the old town of Konjic; the Tunnel of Hope, which recounts Sarajevo during the siege; and a visit to Vrelo Bosne, a national park at the source of the Bosna River known for its small lakes and untouched nature.
